Hosts make thoughtful introductions so impressive people do not spend the evening trapped in small familiar groups. The Georgetown setting gives the experience a distinctly local character. Rather than copying a format from another market, the room is built around the people, rhythms and social culture that make Washington different. The aim is not simply to create another event in Washington; it is to create the kind of room people talk about afterward and actively want to be invited back into.
